Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the driver involved in a hit-and-run crash that resulted in severe injuries to a motorcyclist. The incident occurred on March 22 in the 9000 block of US Highway 90 West in San Antonio. The motorcyclist, a 31-year-old man, was traveling behind a white Toyota Camry at a high speed when the Camry driver abruptly hit the brakes, causing the motorcycle to collide with the vehicle and crash into the center protective cable on the highway. The motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries, including the loss of a leg, and was transported to University Hospital for treatment. The driver of the Camry fled the scene before authorities arrived and did not provide any assistance to the injured motorcyclist. If apprehended, the Camry driver could face charges of failure to stop and render aid with serious bodily injury. Anyone with information regarding the incident or the suspect is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers at 210-224-7867.
